TO BE KIND

Changing doesn't always have to be a bad thing, Fatehah. It's wrong when you discards that kindness that had been templed in you since you were a kid. Now, that's a bad thing. Stand up for yourself and other when you think things are going in the wrong way but also remember to say sorry whenever you realize it was your mistakes. In order to be happy, you need to make peace with your past, your wrong-doings, and all those shameful selves you used to be. Let it dissolve in you and be a part of you you are now. Be kind with your words and be kind with your promises. Be kind with your compliments and your tone. These people come and go which means you do not have time to know everyone deeper than the surface they offer you before they disappear and perhaps you'll never know what they had gone through and what they will endure in the future. This is why the existing people in our lifes should not be taken for granted. They might be plain annoying or full of bad vibes but that doesn't give you the pass to be unkind to them. And at times, you should know to be kind to yourself. Kind, kind, kind. The word kind reminds me of the word kindred, of which somedays are hard to realize that kindred usually gives us kindness that we don't see (or it's just us blurring it out, never noticing it). Fatehah, remember to be kind to yourself, your friends, strangers, families, cats, dogs, animals, plants. Basically, be kind to everything because everything is temporary.

AND I TOLD YOU TO BE PATIENT, AND I TOLD YOU TO BE FINE, AND I TOLD YOU TO BE BALANCED, AND I TOLD YOU TO BE KIND.
