TO: EMMA


One day, I think you'll find yourself overcompensating the life
you never had.
There is this overbearing hollowness inside you that is taking roots, because
yesterday you were 18, in college, walking dark streets from your dorm
to McDonalds laughing with your friends , then today you woke up
and it's all years behind you.

You've never asked for much, didn't you?
Yet, it still felt like it was a mountain of impossible pleas.
